The limited Advantages of Boots #pointsmillionaire app download promotion

In today’s integrated marketing environment there are so many tie-ups between on and offline channels. There’s case studies on sites like EConsultancy and Figaro of brands that have created seamless customer journeys that bridge the digital v real world divide.
One integrated tactic that’s sometimes overlooked is including call to actions on receipts. I’ve found many supermarkets have simple yet effective customer feedback incentives with the chance to win £1,000 by completing a short online survey.
We’ve all seen brands using promoted Facebook and Twitter posts to encourage app downloads, but recently I encountered my first receipt used to promote an app download.

iWatch reviewed – pros and cons

The wearables market has huge growth potential over the next 10 years, as Transparency estimates that Europe’s wearable technology market is expected to reach $2545.51m in 2019, along with ABI research which predicts the market will spike to 485m device shipments by 2018.

Wearables are still very much in their infancy, especially as Apple only launched the iWatch in the UK back in April. I’ve had my iWatch for about 3 months now which seems a sufficient amount of time to review the pro’s and con’s of wearing the latest wearable tech! So read on for my review.

Top tools for planning a wedding

As a project manager/producer I like to think my organisational skills can be applied to any type of project, so when I got engaged in 2014 I found myself having to plan one of my biggest life events aside from buying/moving house!

I’m a fan of collaborative working and using digital tools to make life easier so with this approach in mind me and my partner soon found a number of tools to help make the process a little easier. So I thought it would be helpful to share my experience of how the array of predominantly free tech can make what is one of the most stressful life events that bit more manageable.

Tips on how to manage your next digital project

With the growth of digital platforms and services I’d imagine you’re increasingly having involvement in digital projects. Whether you are a project lead or the head of marketing signing off on a project, many marketers now work with agencies to deliver digital projects and this is where good project management really comes into play, especially when juggling multiple stakeholders. How to get your content found internationally?

While English is predominately the world’s main commercial language, there’s a lot to gain from communicating to customers in their native language, as research has found that 72% of users spend most of their time on websites in their native language (Harvard Business Review).  So if you haven’t thought about making your website content available in a language other than English, then maybe it’s time to reconsider.

The aim of the conference was to look at the latest thinking in User Experience (UX) and understand the breadth of the topic.
